How hardy are Snap peas?

Does anyone know exactly how hardy Snap peas are when an unexpected snow falls? I'm in Denver and put my peas and Broccoli in the garden last weekend, they had about an inch long sprout out of the ground. Today we were hit with a freak storm. 15 degrees and about 8 inches of snow. I covered my brocs but even the cover is now burried in the snow. Guess I'll find out when we defrost but does anyone know if Snap peas can take such a sudden beating? I'm betting the brocs won't make it. And to think last weekend was 78!

snap peas are hardy, not sure how the weight of snow will affect them. Its best to plant every 2 weeks anyway, few and often through the season to keep a supply.

    good luck
