HSBC vs. ING
Many people here have posted about the virtues on ING savings accounts. Someone mentioned that HSBC savings accounts usually meet the really high % yields of the ING accounts. Can people tell me about the differences between the two accounts? Dealing with the companies, customer service, that kind of thing. I can read the rules; I want to know how people feel about them. I figure it would help other people here, too. Thanks in advance! Edited to add: I forgot, but a friend told me this: PayPal's money market account is currently earning 4.43%. That's without a special promotional rate. ING and HSBC were around 3.8% before the special, I think. Any opinions on PayPal for savings?
