I moved into my house two years ago and inherited a hydrangea. Last summer was our first summer in the new house and we had a bad drought so everything was kind of dead. This year it came up beautifully, until about a week ago. It started getting into the 90's outside and the blooms on it are sunburned pretty badly. There's nothing wrong with the leaves. I think I made the mistake of not watering for 2 days thinking we would get rain, since its rained literally every other day. I've watered it but I'm not sure if its enough. Would cutting all the old blooms off help? Will it recover and bloom again this summer?
