I finally found a hoya!! But…

Two questions!

[1] It was purchased at a craft market for 7 rand (about a dollar), had paint on its leaf, and is in this teeny tiny pot.

I feel bad if I tell you how long I've waited to pot it up. I feel worse wondering how long it's been in the pot before I bought it.

My question is: What is a good potting medium for this little guy? How fast do Hoyas grow? And does anyone know what type of hoya this is? I've always wanted one of my own, but I've only known them to have sort of oval leaves.

[2] I have one more question regarding Araucaria araucana (Monkey Puzzle) I am looking for some decent information on how to grow them. There is only ONE that I have ever spotted in South Africa in my journeys and as far as I know, it hasnt dropped any cones. Does anyone know where I can get seeds for this wicked tree? Does anyone know why they are such a commodity these days? Maybe they're just not all the rage anymore... but I love to collect very very old trees.

thanks for any suggestions and help!
