I miss the warm weather.
I miss the warm weather. I miss going outside and playing in the dirt. I miss doing concrete work and digging stuff up and planting stuff in its place. I miss cutting stuff down and building things like stone walls and paths and flower beds and making the yard pretty. So I'm thinking about the upcoming growing season, and dreaming about what's to come. I'm planning on giving part of my garden over to chickens, so that's going to take away some of the space I have for growing veggies. I was thinking about moving some plants into containers, for example, but beans and tomatoes into containers and put those out on the patio. And I was thinking that since I was going to try container veggies, maybe I should try some form of hydroponics. Has anybody ever experimented with hydroponics outdoors. If so, how did you set it up, were there any easy things you tried, any inexpensive workarounds and materials or setups? Also for those who don't have any hydroponic answers, do you have any major plans or anything new that you are desiring to try this summer?
