Hey! I’m Ellie and I live in Warrington in England – I took these pics last summer and as I’ve been lurking here for a while and I think it’s about time I showed you guys my little rented house where i live when I go to college…

Our front room! Sadly we’re not allowed to decorate in here because we only rent it but its surprisingly cosy when the fire’s on! :D
The front room leads into the kitchen… I like to call it the ‘caravan house’ because its tiny and has lots of weird sliding/folding doors everywhere! You can’t really see it but there’s also a big blue sofa to the left of the pic.
The kitchen! It’s ok most of the time but it’s when we have big parties that it becomes interesting… especially when I’m trying to cook at the same time! hehe
Going upstairs…
The bathroom! This is the tiniest room in the house but the bath is lovely and deep so that makes up for it (you can realllly immerse yourself in bubbles!) hehe! And look! another folding door! :D
MY ROOM!!! hehe it’s pretty small but of all the houses I’ve lived in since I came to college this is actually the biggest! small rooms are always good for me though as I’m only a tiny 5ft anyway!
Close up of my bed, my lanterns and my favourite pic above it. I love faeries! You can also see my scarves (there’s a harry potter scarf under there somewhere! hehe) and my theraband (i go to a full time dance college so i use that a lot to stretch!)
This is my picture wall! My first housemate covered her entire bedroom in photos and I decided to do the same… although now i’ve switched to digital cameras my wall has kind of faded away sadly but it still makes me smile everytime I walk in the room and see all the pics of my friends and family.
My make up shelf – I keep all my copies of ‘Dance Spirit’ on here aswell as my ‘Hello Kitty’ things. My housemate is Japanese so she often brings me lots of cute things back after the holidays!
My DVD collection!! I’ve got a lot of ballet and musicals on DVD too – background watching ;) hehe I’m so proud of this as it’s proof that once upon a time I actually earned quite a bit of money (dancing is pretty much a 24/7 career so sadly keeping a part-time job whilst studying is really hard!)… I also have another shelf with all my CDs on under there but I keep all my favourite ones in a proper case by the stereo…
My door – as I said I’m a dancer so there are dance posters and postcards all over the place! hehe Also you can see a bit of my wardrobe and my towel/bedlinen basket but they’re both a bit untidy at the best of times so no close ups there! Those are castanets hanging from the handles too – we take spanish dance classes so they’re essential!
One of my favourite things in my room – my jewellry organiser!! Found it in Superdrug a few months ago on sale and its the best thing i ever bought!
My TV, DVD player and my Hello Kitty stereo! They sit on top of my chest of drawers exactly opposite my bed so that i can watch TV in bed ;D hehe
And that’s it! It’s not much and it’s certainly not the trendiest of places but it’s home! :D
Hope you liked it! Next time I go home to my parents’ house for the holidays I’ll take a pic of my newly redecorated bedroom to show u! I’m rather proud of it as i managed to do it all by myself! hehe
