Idea Request: How did you cover your meters?
Hi, I'm a zone 4 gardener in a townhouse. Apparently, my efforts on my little parts of land and the common property in the back yard has enthused my association board enough to give me a little bit of cash to spend on the yard this year. Hooray! Since this is new for them, I'd really like to encourage this behavior. I thought the best way for that would be to spruce up very ugly "front" entrances to each of the units. Really ugly builder's special 30 year old shrubs and massivly ugly gas meters. I've already talked to the gas company and they're not quite old or ugly enough for them to replace them, but at the same time, there are a bunch of rules for enclosures. It seems like most people have their meters in the back but not us. Any ideas, especially with pictures, on a good way to camoflage these in a way that won't have the gas company on my back?
