Indoor Bucket, I Mean Pond

Indoor Bucket, I Mean Pond

Well, I just finally got my indoor pond started. It sort of started as my friend gave me a cup of mosquito fishes, because I begged nicely. My Firecrest waterlily outgrew the aquarium it was in. So, I cleaned out one of my cats' empty cat litter bucket, very very thoroughly. I stuck a pump in it, the waterlily, and the mosquito fishes. So, the water is finally cleared up and without the icky new pond smell. Unfortunately, my waterlily is in hibernation so good clear water, but not much for show. Now, I can put in some water plants like anacharis, corkscrew grass, caramba grass, and maybe even water fern. I'll put in some snails later. Maybe, even a betta. I may not have the biggest apartment in the world, but not even monetary constraints is going to stop me from having an indoor pond.
I am so going to cry…
