Insurance and Credit Reports
I've been with Pemco for over 20 years. Recently I found out they're charging me more for insurance because of false information in my credit report. (It shows a collection and two other things that I know nothing about. I can prove that the collection is wrong and that I never owed the money.) I've been trying to get the false information removed, without success. I've sent all the information to Pemco and the credit report people, and they've replied with form letters. They haven't corrected any of the false information. At this point, I don't think that either Pemco or the credit report people are going to do the right thing. So, does anyone know of a good insurance company (in Washington state, home and auto) that doesn't use the notoriously inaccurate information in credit reports to overcharge their customers? Thanks.
