View from the door. This pink carpet has been there since… 1993.

The flag has a habit of falling on top of me when I am sleeping.

The furniture is pretty much antique and does not give near enough space, especially considering how small my closet is. I have the master’s bedroom, and yet the closet is half as small as the ones in the other rooms.

I can’t really be bothered to straighten out my bed because the cat will be sleeping there later.

I took these with my brother’s camera, which is why everything is blurry.

Like my bookshelves? I tried to sell them but my parents won’t let me, despite the fact that they are meant to hold the books of a third grader, not an adult reader.

The rest of my books/yarn/kitchen stuff/Barbies my parents won’t let me get rid of.

The middle one is Strawberry Beer.

The closet. No, really, that’s how big it is. The shelving, while great, is now problematic because I hang up my chupas and there is little room for them to hang freely without covering up the shelving.

Nightstand. The coaster is made of rolled up magazine papers.

This is sitting on the bookshelf because I’m not allowed to put any nails into the wall.

Lobsang Delek was one of my students. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9gNOEx2FTI

Because of lack of shelf space, these are my to-read books. A lot of it includes books my mother bought, read, then gave to me (which I will read and give away/swap because I don’t think they’ll be any good), and Indian authors.

These are overflow books that didn’t fit on other shelves. The second shelf (that you can’t see) are my Buddhism and Tibetan language and Hindi language books.

I need to re-do this entirely. (If anyone drinks Jones soda but doesn’t collect the labels, let me know. I’m looking for black and white labels without the “added cane sugar” ribbon.)

This will hopefully be allowed to be hung up on the wall.

Another view of the altar. (The torn picture in the right corner is of HH the Karmapa that I rescued from a friend who was dismantling the altar in her room at the college. It’s not uncommon for Tibetans to rescue pictures of holy people and then when you ask them, “oh, who is that?” they just go, “eh, I don’t know.”

External hard drive, coin collection, things I need to mail to people.
And if you’re curious about all the stuff on the corner of my bed, check out this album: http://www.flickr.com/photos/skyless_blue/sets/72157619568720548/ They’re all handmade (mostly crochet) scarves and they’re all for $20 + shipping or whatever price you name. :)
