I work at a grocery store. I currently make 9 an hour base plus 50 cents per hour because I am third shift. I was asked if I wanted to transfer to a new convenience store that the chain I work for is opening in a few weeks. I would be getting paid 9.90 an hour to work 1st shift. It is also about 8 miles away from my house. The problem is, I live with my grandma and only pay 160 a month to live there, and I have been asked to move in with some friends from my current store. I would be able to afford to live with them, but if I move, I won't have a way to get to my new store as I do not drive. What should I do? You would think that the answer would be obvious, but I feel I have to choose between money and personal happiness. What comes first in your minds? On a side note, I do want to go back to college for my bachelor's quite soon. I already completed one year...the only thing is, I have no money and my family cannot give me any money. Is it difficult to get student loans to cover all expenses?
