Nut grass

Is there a weed/plant that keeps popping up in your garden that, no matter what you do, you just can’t get rid of it?

LOL Here’s your chance to vent/rant about that weed that just won’t go away and stay gone. (And maybe somebody else might know a way to get rid of it that you haven’t tried yet.)

I’ll even go first.

Nut grass is an invention of the devil. I’m sure of it. I just can’t get rid of it. It’s apparently impervious to Round-Up and such herbicides. (Believe me, I’ve tried – repeatedly.) Over time, I can convince bermuda grass that it doesn’t want to be in my garden. Hell, I can even talk the crabgrass into leaving. Nut grass, though? It’s evil. If you don’t get the “nut” out of the ground, it’ll just come back. Again and again and again.
