landscaping for dogs
I'm planning my spring projects-the heat wave (56º! Woo hoo!) is going to my head. :D) We have a palisade fence, and my plan is to come out 2-3' and use landscape timber to section off a border garden all the way around. There's one particular spot though where the dogs like to go to watch the neighborhood. I'd like to put something there than looks nice, but can tolerate the tromping it's going to get. It needs to be short, sturdy and ground covering. Any suggestions? It gets a lot of afternoon sun. I'm thinking of maybe something like monkey grass (Liriope?) or creeping thyme, but I'm open to suggestions!
