And I have another laundry question. This one I'm really hoping can be solved. I have a corduroy jacket from Gap. I love it, it's so cute. I let my cousin borrow it and she kept it for months. In the trunk of her car. Finally, after some family drama, my aunt got it back to me. The issue is that there is a big (probably about the size of a hand) spot of mold or mildew (little brown/black dots) all over the shoulder on one side. I sprayed it with OxyClean (which has solved all my laundry conundrums before) and washed it but it didn't come out. I sprayed it again and scrubbed the spot with a scrub brush but I didn't want to go crazy with it because I was worried it'd hurt the corduroy. Washed it again. And still nothing. Didn't even fade. I haven't tried soaking it, because it has a ton of brass buttons on it and I'm afraid something might happen to them. I want to wear this coat, now that it's getting colder, but I can't wear it with mildew on the sleeve. Does anyone have any ideas? Or am I going to have to throw away my lovely jacket? Thanks for all your help!
