Leather cleaning?

Hi guys

I have a white leather sofa (the slightly shiny type, not suede or nubuck) that’s in desperate need of a clean. No stains or anything, just gradual build up of dirt.

Problem is, I’ve tried all the big supermarkets but they only seem to stock leather wipes, which I’ve heard are bad for the leather. I bought some anyway, but they aren’t that great. I’ve used about 30 wipes on it, and it’s cleaner but not clean.

I’ve also tried the IKEA leather cleaning kit, which might be good for a small chair or bag, but not for a 5-seater white corner sofa – it’s awful. Fiddly, supplied with a tiny sponge, and just generally poor.

I vaguely remember the company I bought the sofa from offering me a leather cleaning kit, but they’ve now closed down.

Suggestions? Home remedies maybe? I live in the UK. I love my sofa and I don’t want to wreck it :D
