Leaves of three…

Leaves of three…

I am trying to figure out the type of plant growing next to our front porch.

Leaves of three...
groundcover

These small plants are covering the yard next to our front porch. They are small with leaves of three. The leaves themselves look more like Vinca than poison ivy and they definitely don’t look like the blackberry or wild strawberries that we have growing in our yard, but how on earth could poison ivy grow in that area? We’ve had this house for 2.5 years and never had it in the front yard before. Is there anything else that it could be? Ideas? How can I tell for sure if it IS poison Ivy (I’ve only ever really known it as Leaves of Three, let them be (on trees). Not growing like a ground cover.

Thanks in advance.

It’s raining again, but hey, what the heck………
