I absolutely love this community… Seeing inside someone’s room is like seeing a little sliver of their soul. That said, it’s taken me a little while to work up the courage to expose that window to my own soul, but I’m ready now. :)
Some background: I am as you see me, both in icon and in name. I collect 80s toys, some of which you’ll see on display in my bedroom. I assembled the vanity from tacky particleboard odds and ends and painted it and fixed it up. I got married very young and separated from my husband a little over a year ago. Shortly after, I assembled this (tiny) bedroom as an attempt to cheer myself up and make the best of being alone for the first time, like, ever. I really liked the result, and hope you will too!
