Living in a motel?

Living in a motel?

Has anyone lived in a motel before? I know it's not cheap, but the one I found, it's not *much* more than an apartment when you consider no utility bills, and not washing your own sheets/blankets/towels...not to mention the free continental breakfast. :) (I'm getting a queen-size suite at Crossland Studios. It's the cheapest one I found that would take me *and* my two cats.) Anyone have any tips on what kind of food to keep/eat? I'll be getting one that has a kitchenette - a half-size fridge, 2-burner stove, and a microwave... (I'm going to be living in a motel - starting tomorrow night! - because I just got evicted, wasn't able to find another place to move to before the eviction got on my record, and now no one wants to rent to me because I have a recent eviction *and* shitty credit, and I have nowhere else to go...my friends here, they have no room to keep me - the ones that can, are allergic to cats, of which I have two...) EDIT: Thank you all for your lovely comments and suggestions. I want to answer each and every one of you, but I don't have time! I moved in yesterday, and to my shock and surprise I actually have a full fridge! And the place is so much bigger than I expected. Thanks again to all of you who made supportive comments. I didn't even *think* of not taking my fuzzbuts with me, they mean too much to me. :)
