Low cost insurance?

I need insurance and I keep getting all these flyers for low cost insurance(anywhere from $100-$200/month), but it’s hard to say which ones are legit, and which are the best to go with.

Has anyone had experience with companies that provide low cost insurance for individuals who don’t have it through their jobs and can’t pay through the nose to get it? Tips? Good Companies? I’m not sure where to start…
