making a seattle garden on little time
This past year, we were supposed to have a vegetable garden but my husband sort of forgot to plant any seeds in it. (OOPS?) Since this upcoming year will be my last in a house, I thought I’d give the garden a go myself. I’d like to make a vegetable garden so I can have fresh veggies for cooking. Should I be preparing the soil for this now? Suppose I could hire someone off craigslist to come and do all the heavy digging for me come whatever month would be appropriate for that (I don't have a lot of spare time, and I think this would probably be the thing I'd be least likely to want to do)? How does one make a one-year garden? I live in Seattle, if this matters. I still have all the seeds we didn't plant this year.
