I couldn’t find this in the memories, so if anyone has any links to old entries, that would be appreciated too.
I am moving into an apartment in May, and I can find most needed furniture on Craigslist or Freecycle for free or cheap.
However, I still need a mattress + boxspring. I don’t care if I have a bed frame. But I need some tips on how to choose a good used mattress. I’m certain there are plenty out there, I’m just not sure how to find one, how to tell if it’s good.
Also, has anyone had any experience getting free mattresses? Or should I expect to pay something?
