May Have to Rename my Book

May Have to Rename my Book

I was just out in the garden, checking on the progress of certain plants, only to discover this. Clearly, I have competition. I have to admit I've been negligent. I don't want to look out into the garden and see a fence. And I haven't put any pepper spray on the growing veggies. But this looks like it was attacked by both mammal and insect, with the possibility of a few birds thrown in for good measure. So not only have my zucchini plants refused to thrive in the side garden, the few veggies that have tried to grow are vastly out numbered by hungry predators. I don't mind a squash that's missing a bite or two, but this is missing the squash! I guess I'll have to rename my book Digging the Learning Curve: How One New Yorker Turned Her Thumb from Lily White to Zucchini Green to something else. Let's see, what about How One New Yorker Turned Her Garden into a Feeding Trough? It doesn't quite scan as well. --- Check out my new website: Digging the Learning Curve. ---
