I had a tough time with crabgrass weeds and Japanese beetle grubs last summer, and towards the end of the season the lawn looked yellow and dead. It still pretty much looks like a moonscape, even as neighbor's lawns green up. Friends, family and coworkers in the area have no good advice -- none of them need to water or fertilize their grass.
What I'm looking for is the least I can do to have a stable, fairly green lawn. The least in terms of time and money spent, and definitely in terms of water, pesticides and chemicals used. I appreciate all advice, thanks very much!
