Morning Glory Question

Morning Glory Question

Hey, I am new to gardening and have some questions.

The first one I have, though, is about Morning Glories. Last spring I put in several varieties of morning glories that did really, really well. This winter they are all brown and just hangining off the fence. My question is, do I need to cut it down or pull it out from last year, or just leave them and they will bloom in the Spring? Or do I need to re-plant? Do I leave them be, trim, pull out, or re-plant? Anybody know?

Thanks.
