I recently moved cities (because started a new study at a new uni in a new city, etc. haha) and today I finally got around to changing my room to its final setup, and also to take pictures (since today it is still pretty clean and shiney and tidy etc!)
My old set-up. I had a high bed. But it moved horribly because my landlady won’t allow me to drill holes in the wall… So it wasn’t fixed to anything. I had to climb on via the windowsill because the floor was too slippery for me to use my ladder!
Sink and mess that I hadn’t unpacked yet :P
I pretty much had no other place to put this stuff… -.- So yeah. My room needed re-organising and I knew it! :)
My clothes closet and a bit of my bed/desk/etc.
I had nowhere else to put this but it looked horrible and messy! Now that I have a low bed it all fits underneath my bed which is brilliant!

This is what you see when you look straight ahead from my door. My tv, a bit of laundry stuff (I have another laundry thing for the bigger stuff, you can see it’s folded standing behind my tv right now) To the left is my closet with clothes, to the right is my desk.

View from the door slightly more to the right. This is my desk and pretty much my main storage area… Also known as ‘where I keep all the crap” or “Nerd HQ” (I’ve a computer and a laptop set up there, sometimes there’s other peoples laptops over there too!)
This is the ‘messy’ side, also known as the left side. It holds some of my cups and also my cd-player, my fan (eugh – but it’s nice in the summer when I’m dying here because the sun is on my windows most the day) and loooots and looots of crap of which a close-up will follow.
Closeup of my daily mess. This is stuff I use daily like my wallet, my digital camera, a book, some paintbrushes, my fan etc.
The right side of my bed, where I keep all my books, and a lot of storage units with various bits and bobs. I’m so happy with those storage crates! It makes my room seem so much more tidy!!
I always like looking at other peoples books, so I took a more close-up picture of my books. They’re not very interesting. The lowest shelf are the dutch books, one shelf up is my english books, one shelf up is my uni books, one shelf up from that (not really in the picture) is my Harry Potter books (mainly, and some books that I borrowed off people).
To the right of my bed is the window. This is my view. Today is a very rainy day, bleh! You can also see my lettuce here :) It should be planted outside but it’s too cold. Maybe at the end of may :)

Close-up of my sink. It has my most used stuff like shampoo and perfume on top. I don’t have a mirror in my room because my landlady won’t allow me to drill holes in the wall. Also, I dislike having a (non-diguised/hidden) mirror in my room. I just don’t want to see my reflection every single second of the day ^^
View of my bed. You can see that I stuffed a lot of my crap underneath my bed and out of sight :) It also has storage crates for my shoes. It’s a lovely solution I think!
