Moving

Moving

Hi. I'm mostly a lurker, only posted once before, but now I have a new problem. My boyfriend and I are moving from a 1500 square foot apartment to a 900 square foot. We are losing quite a bit of space, as you can see. Most of the space will be disappearing because (1) the living room will be much smaller, (2) right now we have two full baths; in the other apartment, it will be one and a half baths, (3) we are losing our nice sized laundry room, but not the washer and dryer (they'll be in a nice little closet thing in the kitchen) and (4) we will lose our pantry. Most of our stuff is being whittled down (half of our stuff is old broken things and paper; we're packrats) so we don't have a huge issue with storage in most of the new place. Except for the pantry. Our current pantry is full of stuff. We won't be gaining very much more cabinet space or counter space. So, any ideas on how to store food stuffs that won't fit in a cabinet and that we don't use often? x posted to my journal
