My garden in progress
I feel silly posting these because, well, my operation is so "small scale" and frankly, obviously sophomoric in my attempts, but here's mud in your eye! I started with this little operation. More pix under cut As you can see I don't really know what the heck I'm doing (I'm new at this), but I'm trying to protect my little chutes from this guy: he's asleep in the picture, but he loves to chew on tender little green things. The tomatoes are in the popcorn bucket, and those are watermelons in the peed pots. As you can see the watermelons have really taken off. They are sugarbabies and at this rate, I'll be eating them in June! Once I transplant them, I'm going to use this container to start my herbs. The tomatoes are also doing well. But I have them under plastic so the kitty doesn't get any bright ideas (the watermelons grew past covering them, and now I need a more clever plan).
