My room

My room

I moved from living in an 8-foot geodesic dome (made of cardboard and pallets no less) to living in this giant attic room. I couldn't even get pictures of all of it. Anyway, I'm soon moving into a smaller room so I thought I'd post this room while I'm still in it. My room My room
I have no heat in my house (which is a little bit of a challenge) but we live in Oregon, so it never gets terribly cold. I try to keep everything in one space, though, so I don't have to move around a lot.
My bed
This is my bed closer up, and my cactuses. The posters are by Nikki Mcclure, her artwork is on http://www.buyolympia.com

This is the corner where I stack my blankets and have my "closet".

The opposite side of this giant room is where I store all my daily coats. I bicycle everywhere, so I often have a lot of gear to cart around. That mindmap you see is a mindmap of all my projects for the next few months. The peppers are preserved from my summer garden. The beer bottle is a very special hard-to-get beer that was brewed on my birthday (7/7/7) this past year.
Dangling pictures
I take a lot of photographs, so I'm constantly looking for new ways to display them. In this picture, you can see them dangling from ribbon, on a shelf, and tacked to a wall. The canvases were in the room when I moved in.
Luckily, I'm moving to a smaller L-shaped room downstairs this week. Hope you enjoyed my room! I like it a lot.
