This is what you see when you walk in, obviously. My little technology corner, pokemon and fruits basket pictures on the wall :D
This is on your right as you come in through the door. You can see my cactus, some of my boyfriend's games and some other crap sitting on top of the bookcase. At the very top of the picture is the sprite of Link from Zelda that my cousin stitched for me :D Underneath are some Voltaire postcards and some pictures of pokemon I drew.
Close up of postcards and Link. The postcard of the keyboard key is one I got from Germany.
BOOKS! Go ahead, be nosey.
More books :P I love my books. I have many more but these are mostly ones I have acquired in the last year.
Books end; manga begins. I love Fruits Basket, I actually have all the volumes, don't know why these particular ones are here.
Oh dear God what happened to this picture? :( You can almost see the DVD Love Exposure which is my favouritest film ever.
View out of my window :D Living in the peaceful part of town at the moment, although the house hidden by those bushes almost straight ahead is a drugs rehab centre. The picture on the windowsill is of my boyfriend and I at our leavers prom at the end of high school.
Close up of my technology corner :P You can see lots of furuba characters on the wall and my favourite scene from Spirited Away. The book on the desk is some self help book my Hypnotherapist gave me.
Pretty Pokemon poster and pic from spirited away.
Furuba characters and dream catcher I've had as long as I can remember.
Part of my pretty bed. The door leads to a storage cupboard. Pictures on the door are from FRUiTS. Big poster is from Pokemon, little ones are ones I drew except from the bottom one which my sister did.
Orgasm-inducing Zelda poster with my ocarina that my boyfriend gave to me hanging in front of it. Bedside table with graze box <3 and random books and manga lying about.
Table of Plushies! Yes, those wardrobes have mirrors on them. Quite useful. The panda is a DS case my cousin made me :) She also made me fingerless gloves with triforces on them. Anyway.
Here is the door you came through. On the back of the door hangs my kendo outfit and some hoodies and stuff. Next to it you can see my kendo shinai and bokken in their bag. On the wall hangs the paper cranes my friends made me when I had to leave uni for my health.
This is a kind of shrine in progress of some of my favourite things. I really like shrines just for display purposes. The two boxes on top have little ghibli hangy things. They are collectors items but I keep having an urge to just tie them to my bags and stuff anyway. In the green display are lots of figurines. We have Misdreavous and Mismagius in the first compartment, three pikachus and a little bidoof in the second, the Mareep family in the third, Mew, a trainer and a little cactus dog thing in the fourth, Link and Tetra/Zelda in the fifth and a limited edition Ho-Oh in the last one. the shell in front is preeetty. You can kind of see my fake bonsai in the top right corner.
Here is my little display of Juunishi or zodiac animals like Shigure made in furuba. The one in the middle is the tiger because it is the year of the tiger. I might remake it with bigger pebbles or some clay. Next to it you see one of my many momiji/kimmidolls. Then you see my craft box thing with pens, pencils, stickers etc in it.
This is who lives in this room :) usually the doggie is here too but he is busy pestering someone else just now :)
Now I want to show you the flat I was in at Edinburgh Uni.
This was my desk :D I'm sure you're recognising a few items already :P
This is facing my door. On the wall next to the bed I had my massive Zelda scroll. I loved this room :'( It had a sink and everything!
Here is the kitchen I shared with 4 other girls. It got hectic at times.
So that's me. Sorry I talked about what is in my room more than the colour or layout but as I said it's just temporary, I am really looking forward to moving out again in September. I'll be sure to take new pictures and show you the flat I'll be sharing with my boyfriend!
