Hello everyone! I’m usually a lurker but thought some of you might enjoy a few pictures of my gardens! I have a very small townhouse with a small front yard and a small, long backyard. I love to collect vintage and try to incorporate items into my garden as well. I also love lots and lots of color! These are pictures that I have taken of my garden throughout the spring and summer months.
These are a few pictures of the front of my house. Everyone else in the townhouse row has grass, I have flowers! I also have a cute little place to sit on my front porch and drink iced tea! My main objective is to have people walk by and say WOW!
This is a picture of my front garden in late May/June.
Everything is planted with flowers, even the parking strip between the sidewalk and the street curb. It’s kind of all or nothing with me! :) In amongst the flowers are solar powered tiki torch lights and pink flamingos!
Here is my front garden in July.
I usually wait till June to buy all my annuals as a local greenhouse has a huge parking lot sale and you can get things really cheap then! Notice my spider plants get replaced with hanging baskets for more color!
I am obsessed with Heywood Wakefield furniture and have a cute set on my front porch! The metal table I recently repainted!
The back garden is my own personal refuge. I have a small veggie garden, a pond, and various sitting areas for reading good books and enjoying a good meal.
This is my back garden in May.
To give you an idea of the size of my garden. I am standing on my back porch facing towards my detached garage and studio. On the right is my veggie garden. My water garden is in the back by the seating area and my cat is hiding behind the lambs ear! Oh yes, those are 50′s tiki lights you see hanging up back there! Keep an eye out for the pink flamingos too!
A little vintage color!
Here’s a view from the back of my garden looking at my porch! July sometime!

Please take notice to the broken umbrella and rusty metal chair.

I found a very cool vintage 50′s umbrella and metal table at auction a few weeks ago! Love that color! Goodbye ugly broken umbrella!

And I recently repainted my rusty metal chairs and tables!
