I need some help identifying the first two pictures/plants. The leaves on the first picture look just like the leaves on an Iris yet the stem to the bloom reminds me of a Lily. The flower is slightly bigger than a silver dollar. I got this plant at the Farmer’s Market last year and forgot all about it. And now I can’t remember it’s name…
This next plant came up in the compost heap this year. The leaves are huge and the flower, in the morning, is as big as my hand and it has a long (6″ or so) stem. The leaves are prickley. If it’s not a Pumpkin, I’ve no idea what it is.. I do have to add that I’ve grown other stuff by accident in the heap and they’ve all done really well!
And the next couple pics are just the blooms that are still happening in my yard (Central VA)
