Name that weed

Name that weed

I'm determined to learn about weeds this year. I hope to someday get comfy enough with the edibles that I actually will eat one. (The only reason I won't eat one now is because there's no one around to make a very positive ID.) The only thing I can identify for now is a dandelion. So bear with me. (1) It may be too early to ID this? There are a jillion of them growing around this mini stream in my back yard. (Almost as many as all the skunk cabbages.) (2) Is this ragweed? (3) (4) (5) Milkweed, maybe? (6) Thanks everyone! Carolyn, zone 5, western Massachusetts

easier to identify if you can catch them flowering. 1) possibly a garlic mustard though it is way to small to be certain, 3) henbit or could be purple dead nettle – both edible. 5) possibly broad leaf dock or a rumex variety
