New house – New garden

New house – New garden

We recently had to move house. While the backyard is just paving and lawn, the frontyard is a gorgeous jungle of plants. About the only issue is that I can't really tell what's meant to be there and what's a weed. We had some dark maroon carnations blooming a couple of weeks ago, but they've died off now so no photos of them. The Frangipani is in full bloom - there are two of these. Roses! We also have white ones. They will all need a good pruning very soon. Agapanthus. A very popular garden plant around here. I also grow tortishell cats. :) Anyone know what that serrated leaved weedy thing behind her is? Is it actually a weed? Anyone know what this is? I have two in the garden. Palm tree. Anyone know which species? I love this one!! There are two bushes of these. They look like double hibiscus with purple petals and yellow (are they the stamens?) instead of the usual red ones. IS this a hibiscus? Or something else? I know this one's technically a weed, but it looked so pretty I had to leave it be. Groundcover with bunches of tiny pale pinkish/purple flowers. Anyone know what it is? Another groundcover (Can anyone ID?) The flowers aren't more than 5cm across. I'm pretty sure this isn't Morning Glory. It's flowers are MUCH smaller and it doesn't have a viney aspect to it at all. Unless Morning Glory has a smaller, ground cover cousin, it ain't that. Also in the garden we have a few Hibiscus of varying colours, a rather sad looking Hydrangea, a Grevillia and a Strelitzia which isn't flowering at the moment. There are also ferns everywhere near the front of the house.
