So I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself. And also shattered. Its been a hot day and its taken a good few hours to do but I now have a new bed. :)
And I have no idea what to put in it *l* But whatever it is can’t be too deep-rooted because under the bed there is clay, then hardcore. I’ve put a good layer of compost and manure in the bottom and worked it into the clay before adding the topsoil though so that should help, but I couldn’t do a thing about the hardcore.
Oh, I tried that vinegar trick on those bugs and its working – I still have some but nowhere near as many – thanks!
