New seedlings

New seedlings

I have tried starting seedlings indoors for a few years now, and it is always a complete failure. It usually results in a LOT of wasted money and having to buy the plants I tried starting to begin with. So, tell me, what am I doing wrong? It always goes like this: the seedlings sprout super-fast, and they continue growing super-fast. They get REALLY tall and spindly... Image hosting by Photobucket See how tall they are and how thin their stems are? That's how all my seedlings eventually look. Then the weight of the leaves become too much for them and they fall over. How can I prevent this from happening? WHY are they getting so spindly??? Thanks for your advice!!!
