We (basically my husband, Paul) dug up our little garden plot today. It’s 9′ X 131/2′.
Here I am:
We added a few bags of manure and humus to the dirt. I think I may plant some seeds on Wednesday, if I can figure out how I should set the garden up. I don’t know how to figure how much space is required for each kind of plant. Paul and I are getting the feeling that we bought too many seeds. Can corn, zuchinni, broccoli, kale, spinach, chard, snow peas, onions, watermelon, and snow peas all fit in this little plot? How do we figure how many seeds to plant, if we just want a few of each item? I won’t be planting the corn until June. I wonder if we should just choose a few of these to start with, this year.
