Of course

As soon as I bought tomato plants to plant out, the seeds I had put in started to germinate and sprout wee plants :-/ That's ok, as my sugar snap pea and zucchini seedlings are coming along perfectly. According to the books and talking to various people, I should be able to safely plant out my seedlings by the end of October(remembering that I am in the Southern Hemisphere). I am on my second round of pepper seeds. I am not sure what I did the first time around wrong, but I have changed the seedling mix and put them in a different place to germinate, so we shall see. In other garden news, there is something coming up in the front flower bed that I know I didn't plant. Kind of looks like a canna shoot, but it is too early to really tell. I have relented, and allowed my hubby to purchase some hostas. We were going to do that today, but it is absolutely howling outside with wind and rain. As much as I would love to be out in the garden (cough cough), we are camped out in front of the log burner today. So, I am feeling pretty good about the progress that our little garden is making. We are still in early days yet, but I feel confident!
