Oh Heck NOOOO!!!!!

Oh Heck NOOOO!!!!!

Please help me, fellow gardeners! I was dusting my plant stand yesterday, suffered a seizure (I have epilepsy), dropped the Tradascantia (Wandering Jew) that I took from my Nan's house after she passed away and broke a huge piece off! It actually doesn't seem to have been part of the main part, but it *does* seem to have a couple of stubby roots still alive. I have it in a glass of water and I'm pretty good at rooting things. But this was my Nan's, and if anything happens to it I'll be devastated! Can somebody please tell me it'll be okay? I've rooted Tradascantia cuttings (even single leaves) before, but this is important as all heck. That climber is over 20 years old and my Nan grew it from a cutting she took from me!
