It keeps everything happy, and returns over and over! ;)
I love my rainbarrels! This system is really nice, you can turn off the diverter in the winter in case water freezes, and it just goes straight down into the drain, which it also does once the two barrels are full. I have room for 2 more hopefully. Each one is 55 gallons.
So it’s not the prettiest thing in my garden, but man, has it made a difference in water bills as well as lessening runoff into the city sewer system.
Here is a picture of a small water garden I made a couple weeks ago. Pretty easy, now I’m just watching it to make sure the algae goes away like the garden guy said it would.
