So, I just realized that my credit union’s formerly awesome interest rates for savings and checking accounts suck these days. What online or national chain banks do people have accounts with, have had good experiences with, and have good interest rates with? I’d prefer a national (or DC local) chain, as I get cash for tutoring and whatnot fairly regularly, which I like to drop in the ATM rather than deal with cash, but any online banks that have a decent way of depositing cash would be cool as well.
