Our home in Israel

Our home in Israel

I moved in (and to Israel!) with my boyfriend about 5 months ago and the apartment is always a work in progress. Apartment buildings in Israel are mostly old, and almost always have the same exterior hue, that is the colour of sand. I like to think that I made the apartment a lot nicer since I came and there are lots for us to do still. I’d also like to paint the bedroom walls but haven’t decided on the colour.

The kitchen – my favourite room

Left side of the kitchen – we got the table from Ikea as a little pantry

Eggtimer – on top of the microwave. I love this guy

The bathroom, which is kinda 70′s, but I love the retro tiles. The sink area which is not shown needs reworking though.

Our sunny bedroom. The bed (and sheets) was a new addition. We get alot of sun, but I think the room is too ‘yellow’. Intend to repaint.

Plushies from Thailand and Singapore – to remind me of home

This is in-front of the front door. Yeah I know there are only 4 pairs of guy’s shoes. The rest are mine.

The living-room – I wanted to get a new couch set but we have to wait for that. The room needs some art too.

Over time, I hope to be able to do more and will post pictures of the progress.
