Our New Home

Hi :) Last month, my hubby and I moved into a new place. The reason we moved here is that they are literally NEW, and we really just wanted a nice, fresh, clean place in a nice neighborhood. However, in order to afford new, we went way down in space. So it has been challenging at times, trying to find places for things. The biggest adjustment we made was our living room. What should be a living room was just too small for our furniture. After mulling it over for a while, we decided to take what would have been our office, and turn it into our TV room. My computer then got put into the dining area, and the dining are got pushed to the living room area, because I didn’t want people walking into my "office". His computer, along with our bookshelves, ended up in the bedroom. *sigh*

But we are pretty much settled in now :) We finished putting up pictures and stuff yesterday, and it’s starting to really feel like home :) This apartment is also much brighter than our old home, which I love. So here are some pictures…. I was surprised at how many I took & how many things I missed. I really wanted to be able to show more details, but I figured I would just give a broad overview for the first post :)

To start, here is our floor plan:

The first picture is the view from the front door. Our living room/dining room/kitchen section is very open and I love that! Although, like I mentioned, we did not put our living room in here.

And to the left are the doors to the "TV room" and my bathroom…

This is our TV room, which is mostly used for XBox these days, lol, I tried to avoid including my coffee table because the glass top broke & we’re still waiting for the replacement to come. Ugh.

And here is my bathroom, quite possibly my favorite room in the whole apartment <3

Across the hall is "the boys" room, lol. I let my husband have the bigger bathroom so he could take care of the litter box & stuff. So he, and the 2 boy kitties, have that room. It’s pretty plain right now, he’s just starting to get it decorated.
