Overdraft fees…

Overdraft fees…

I don't suppose anybody knows of any way for low income people to get some overdraft fees refunded at Wells Fargo. Basically I checked my account balance online and it was about -$200, where it had been $60 a couple of days ago. What happened was that several merchants decided to all submit their week-old purchase receipts yesterday, and stupid me forgot to check the statement thoroughly to make sure all purchases had been recorded against the balance. So every $2 purchase at Einstein's Bagels actually cost me a total of $35 ($2 + $33 overdraft fee). And there were 5 such purchases. Any ideas? Or is this just a $165 lesson for me (and you guys) to never forget? I think the moral of the story is, cash > debit card.
