I did some gardening today, planting a couple new batches of flowers, portaluca and celosia. The Celosia will be iffy, considering they really need steady watering and I tend towards drought tolerant plants, but I couldn’t resist. They are so bright. CSA

So I’m wondering what people pay here to be a part of a CSA? My city, Pensacola, FL just started one and it seems to expensive. Subscribers pay $390 for one 13-week season or $780 for the entire summer. Those who prepaid for the entire summer got a 5 percent discount, paying $741. Opinions?

Someone ate my sage seedlings! They were in a planter on my balcony and doing really well. I’m so sad. Was it squirrels? Birds? No other seedlings are damaged…

is this even possible?

i recently moved into an apartment and would like to take my blue girl rose out of my old front yard. could i re-pot it and put it on my balcony, or should i dig it up and put it in my mother’s yard?
