Personal shopper, kinda
So I just moved to a new community because of getting a job and found out from my boss that there's a local deli that, if you pay them $20, will go once a month to a farmer's market in the city and bring back a whole bunch of locally-grown vegetables. You don't get a choice in the type of vegetables, they just bring you a whole mess of whatever is available, and since I haven't done it yet, I don't know how much they actually bring back. My boss seems to think this is a great deal but she's not poor. :) I like the idea of eating locally-produced veggies, and at the very least this would save me the cost of gas if I drove into the city to get the veggies myself. Does $20 for a mess of vegetables sound like a good deal?
