So, it’s August, and despite the fact summer has only just arrive in Maine, I know I’ll be turning on the heat soon!!
We plan on only heating our apartment to around 60-65 degrees. The windows are brand new. It’s our first winter in this apartment so I’m not sure where what drafts will come from.
Will my phalanopsis be okay in a southern window near the baseboard? Will that be too mnay sudden changes in heat for it? I’m assuming it’ll do okay in 60-65 degrees, but I may be wrong.
The orchids were just given to me this past spring. I consider it a feat to have kept them healthy this long! They’ve always struck me a fickle plants.
I want to be able to plan for them accordingly. The blooms have just passed and I’ll be waiting to see a new bloom stem this spring I hope!!
