Hi all, I joined the community a few weeks ago and have enjoyed reading everyone's posts since then. I have a lot of houseplants, a container herb garden, and a vegetable garden I take care of at my mother-in-law's house. We just bought a new place that needs a TON of landscaping work, so I have a lot of gardening ahead of me. My current problem is that I have a philodendron with a few vines that are getting out of control--across the TV cabinet where it lives, down the side, and across the floor about 5 feet! I think it's time for a trim. I've read that you can plant the vines in new pots to get new plants started and then cut them off from the mother plant. I tried it once before but it didn't really work for me. Do any of you have experience with this? Thanks!
