Plant ID and a Thanks

Do different varieties of mums have different shaped leaves? Last fall when this bush bloomed I thought it was a mum but I planted a mum which my daughter gave me for Mother’s Day and the leaves look nothing like this. Can anyone tell me what this is? I very dutifully cut back all of the dead growth in the spring and it’s growing much more nicely than last year.

And I would like to thank

for the Jewels of Opar. Five of them survived. I am soooo looking forward to getting them to the point that they can be planted in the front yard. Lookie at the little babies growing. Don’t mind the coleus. They were there first and need to be set out.
