Plant ID (You guys ever get tired of these?)

Walking around a nursery we spotted this, and any employees or owners were nowhere to be found:

Anybody know what it is? I can guess that it’s a monocot, but beyond that, I’m clueless (thanks, Botany class!) I think it’s absolutely beautiful but we won’t know if it will work for our home unless we know what it is and whether it will survive a North Florida winter.

Edit: Oh, and it’s about 5 feet tall.
