So, it comes spring and I’m looking for plants and I realize that the desert that is my SW side wall has flowers, flowers and more flowers, but not much by way of differing textures. So I’m stuck. What has great blue or purple colour, is drought and heat tolerant but isn’t a traditional flower… I have a good pal who is on record as having a strong preference for atypical flowers, so I figured, if I were her what would I plant?…
